This Is Not Supervision
RITUAL REST FOR THERAPISTS
A circle to hold the ones who hold it all
A 90-minute circle for eight therapists to set down the helper role and practice being held. Ritual, witnessing, and rest — no prep, no pushing, just presence.
You’re a therapist. A healer. A space-holder.
People come to you to fall apart, feel seen, and find clarity. You’ve been the strong one, the safe, one, the grounded one.
But here’s the truth: You’re tired.
Not because you’re broken - because this system was never built to hold YOU.
This is not supervision.
This is not another training.
What this is
Inside this intimate, in-person circle:
You don't have to explain, guide, or regulate anyone
You get to breathe, be seen, and soften
You practice something most of us rarely do: receiving
You're invited into ritual, rest, and real connection
No prep. No effort. Just presence. You’ve held so much for so many. Let something hold you now.
What to expect
We gather in a circle of eight. There's an arrival ritual to help you land, an explicit invitation to set the helper role down at the door, and gentle movement and journaling to drop out of the head and into the body. The heart of the gathering is simple: being witnessed, and practicing letting yourself be held — by the circle, not by your own effort. We close with ritual, so you leave resourced rather than raw.
You will never be pushed to share. Everything is invitation.

Who is holding this
Hi! If we haven’t met before, I’m Kate Neufeld. I have been in the mental health world since 2013 holding space and caring for others, and know from the inside out how rarely helpers get to be on the receiving end. Since transitioning to private practice, I have found this is compounded by working in an office alone all day. In my heart I believe that humans need community to be well - helpers included. This gathering grew out of that longing.
